Europe - The European Union

What is The Union?

The European Union is many things, and many of those things are deliberately concealed from us.

Most people in the world are concerned with survival, earning a living so that they may eat, cloth themselves and their families, and keep roofs over their heads, and the last thing that they have time to do is spend an unspecified number of hours a day seeking information that is openly available to them (let alone information that is concealed from them).

Not only do people not have the time to seek all information (concealed and unconcealed) but also they do not have the time to sum it all up and think it through in order to gain the big picture that depicts the big picture reality.

Modern technology does gives us some tools that may help to dispel our lack of knowledge and help throw light on the big picture reality, and for those people who find themselves reading this item in this web page on my web site, the following may be a very good start.

Decline of Britain since 1973 EEC Tony Gosling.

Interviewee: Tony Gosling

After watching (or rather, listening) to the above, the following may appear a waste of time.

However, the following relates more closely to recent events, including the British Prime Minister running around Europe looking like a cheap tout trying to sell his country (for next to nothing).

Robin Horsley interviewing Roger Helmer MEP:

"The Great Brexit debate"

So, it is easy to argue that the European Union is not Europe, not representative of Europe, and is not even a union, but an empire.

The European Union is in fact no less than an empire with overwhelming dictatorial power - in fact, in many ways not even a proper empire.

It is not an accident or series of accidents that a number of links between Ted Heath, who took Britain into what was the Common Market in 1973, is said by Michael Shrimpton to have links with the Germans going back to before the Second World War, and that the European Union today has taken on a strong semblance of the Europe of 1940-45 under occupation by the German Nazis. The period we are in today could be called the second Period of European Tyranny.

In the 'Remainian' camp Britain's membership of the European Union is supported by statements, masquerading as reasons, that do not stand up to the smallest scrutiny, yet sound good to the ear, especially the ear of the person who is too busy to think about such matters that seem so completely divorced from everyday life.

This is a speech made by the excellent speaker Daniel Hannan at the Spectator Brexit debate on (26th ?) April 2016. In it one can hear loud and clear a series of reasons that are consistent, logical, factual, do not contradict points of reality, and that more especially do not defy physics, or sound like a series of dots that do not belong on the same page or in the same book due to inconnectablility.

Now for the silly stuff that nightmares are made of (real life ones).

Some people, despite the scarcity of reason, think that to remain in the EU is good.

When one manages to squeeze some reason or reasons out of a would-be remain voter in the remain camp, what follows may be as described below:

________________________________________________________

Why The Arguments of the David Cameron Remain Camp (DCRC?) have no efficacy

"1. We would lose access to the single market. It would take up to 10 years to renegotiate."

Fact A:

When asked what they mean by a 'single market', many people have no idea, and those that might or should have cannot substantiate any meaningful notion for the following reasons:
One may be tempted to ask, "to which single market do you refer?"
"Switzerland?"
"Norway?"
"Argentina?"
"Germany?"
"North American?"
even ...
"Martian?"
"Mercurian?"

The fact is, there is no real entity that can be called the single market.

Each nation is a market, each group of customers is a market, as in 'the market' in market research terms.

Fact B:

Due to the fact that 'the single market' is meaningless, the assertion that it would take up to 10 years to renegotiate is also meaningless.

In fact, the full truth is even worse: the assertion that it would take up to 10 years to renegotiate is fatuous: one does not even need a trade agreement to trade.

To imply that trade agreement is required as a prerequisite to trade is dishonest.

Observations:

The absence of a meaningful 'single market' in the presence of a world full of individual markets broadly represented by different nations renders the number 1. reason to remain hollow, empty of meaning, and actually dishonest.

Conclusions:

Since we have a hollow vacuous quote representing a meaningless cliché, the only possible conclusion is that the number 1. reason to remain is not even a reason to remain!

Action:

Vote LEAVE!

2. Each of the 53 bilateral trade deals would have to be re-negotiated if the UK left the EU."

Fact A:

With reference first to the rebuttal of 1. above, .... not only are trade deals not necessary, but the United Kingdom would very quickly achieve trade deals with many of the world's nations if only Britain had a government made up of honest and true statesmen and stateswomen.

Each nation is a market, each group of customers is a market, as in 'the market' in market research terms.

Fact B:

Due to the fact that ... etc. etc. is dishonest.

Observations:

The absence of a meaningful ... etc. etc. and actually dishonest.

Conclusions:

Etc. etc. reason to remain !

Action:

Vote LEAVE!

3. USA has ruled out a trade deal with us.

Fact A:

With reference to .... etc. etc.

Each nation is a market, each group of customers is a market, as in 'the market' in market research terms.

Fact B:

Due to the fact that ... etc. etc. is dishonest.

Observations:

The absence of a meaningful ... etc. etc. and actually dishonest.

Conclusions:

Etc. etc. reason to remain !

Action:

Vote LEAVE!

4. European Arrest Warrant is a very powerful tool in tackling crime.

Fact A:

Whit reference to .... etc. etc.

Each nation is a market, each group of customers is a market, as in 'the market' in market research terms.

Fact B:

Due to the fact that ... etc. etc. is dishonest.

Observations:

The absence of a meaningful ... etc. etc. and actually dishonest.

Conclusions:

Etc. etc. reason to remain !

Action:

Vote LEAVE!

5. Paid holiday, maternity and paternity leave + workers rights are protected by EU.

Fact A:

With reference to .... etc. etc.

Each nation is a market, each group of customers is a market, as in 'the market' in market research terms.

Fact B:

Due to the fact that ... etc. etc. is dishonest.

Observations:

The absence of a meaningful ... etc. etc. and actually dishonest.

Conclusions:

Etc. etc. reason to remain !

Action:

Vote LEAVE!

A BIG DEBATE !

The following is the Spectator debate published on 28 Apr 2016 Dan Hannan, Nigel Farage and Kate Hoey make their case for Brexit. Whilst Nick Clegg, Liz Kendall and Chuka Umunna argue that Britain is better off remaining a part of the European Union. Andrew Neil chairs.

Listen carefully and you will hear Liz Kendall make a statement that may be analogised by saying that one who may put to sea in a bathtub has less chance of drowning than someone who stays on dry land, and Chuka make an assertion equivalent to attempting to persuade the Jews that what they were going into were showers when in fact they were cyanide gas chambers.

(And the EU may be every bit as poisonous.)

The following shows the European Parliament being told what a fake democracy it actually is by none other than Nigel Farage: educational.

One delusion of human beings is the dream of freeing themselves from nature.

Thinker freedom nature enslavement oppression rule pestilence plague famine hunger pain

____________________________________________________________________________________

  1. We do not need to be in the European Union to be strong!
  2. We in Europe are stronger without the European Union (Greece is an awfully sad example of the EU effect).
  3. The European Union is anti-Europe and, out of the European Union, we each nation of us, is able to play to our strengths, be stronger, and together be a stronger Europe.
  4. The Europe of today is weaker because of the European Union!

Vote OUT !
